Dandong has witnessed rapid growth in agricuhural mechanization since the launch of subsidy policy. This article examines the present state of development in agricultural mechanization in Dandong, makes analysis on the existent problems, and puts forward countermeasures in terms of mechanized rice transplanting and harvesting, mechanized maize sowing and harvesting, the construction of special farm products bases, and the construction of service system.
