19世纪末20世纪初，中国出现了大批学生留学日本的热潮。中国近代留日热潮的出现有着复杂的历史原因，是由多种因素综合作用的结果。然而，具有新知识、新思想的留日学生对近代中国的政治、军事、文化有着积极作用。他们不仅是中国民主化的推进者、新文化的传播者，而且也是军事近代化的促进者，在近代中国的社会变革中起了冲锋陷阵、推波助澜的作用。

In the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century,a large number of Chinese students poured into Japan. The studying booms in Japan occurred in the context of which influenced by many factors. However, with new ideas and new knowledge, students studying in Japan had a positive role in the political, military, culture of modern China. They are not only the promoter of democracy and great communicators of new culture, but also promoter facilitator of the military modernization. In the rapid transform process of modern china society, they played a role in adding fuel to the flames and charging into the enemy ranks.
