Today,colorful-leaf plants are more and more important in landscaping.This paper introduces the concept and classification of colorful-leaf plants,describes using principles of colorful-leaf plants in garden,and explores the suitable colorful-leaf plants in Hainan.It is hope that colorful-leaf plants plays important role in construction in Hainan.
