以丙烯酰胺和丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵为单体,过硫酸钾为引发剂,水溶液聚合法合成了一种新型的阳离子絮凝剂.通过单因素分析确定了较佳的反应条件为:聚合温度为70℃,引发剂用量为0.16%,单体配比m(AM)∶m(DAC)=1︰8,总单体浓度为20%,反应时间3h.在最佳反应条件下,所得阳离子聚丙烯酰胺絮凝剂的特性黏数为15.792 2dL/g,在其加入量为0.003%的条件下处理污泥,上层清液透光率达90.7%,污泥脱水率达89.2%.

Cationic polyacrylamide(P(AM-DAC)) was synthesized by aqueous copolymerization of acrylamide(AM) and acryloyloxyethyltrimethyl ammonium chloride(DAC) as the starting materials and Potassium persulfate as the initiator.The influences of such factors,as total concentration of monomers,use of initiators,copolymerization temperature on the main characteristics of CPAM in the process of the co-reaction were investigated,and the optimal reaction conditions were obtained as follows:copolymerization temperature 70℃,initiator amount 0.16%,total concentration of monomers 20%,monomer ratio m(AM):m(DAC) = 1:8,and reaction time 3h,Under optimum conditions,the intrinsic viscosity of the product is 15.792 2 dL/g.When the product is used in the treatment of sewage sludge with dosage 0.003%,the transmittance of the supernatant is 90.7%,and the dewatering rate of the sludge is 89.2%.Furthermore,the chemical structure and thermal behavior of CPAM were characterized by FT-IR and TG respectively.
