Height datum transference across the sea was realized by using the method of GPS height datum transference and synchronous reduction. The results got by the method of GPS height datum transference and synchronous reduction vary in height by 3cm. The result showed that to realize height datum transference across the sea using the method of GPS combined with geoid refining technology is more time-saving, con- venient and reliable.
