本文以口弦的音阶为题材，介绍了口弦的发音原理，例举了不同民族口弦音乐所用的不同音阶，阐释了口弦音阶构成的自然规则，总结了口弦音阶赖以生成的谐音系列的邻音程关系，口弦基音与旋律的调式、调性关系，以及谐音系列的六个重要特性：非演绎性、隐含性、精确性、不可变性、选择性和拟它性。

This paper studies the scale of mouth harp, introduces articulation principium of the instru- ment, exemplifies different scales used by distinctive nationalities and interprets natural rules of the scale formation. The study further summarizes the relationship of adjacent intervals in harmonic tones depend on which the mouth - harp scale is formulated, the relationship between the fundamental tone, music modes and tones, as well as the six important characteristics of harmonic tones.
