In order to construct the pragmatic mathematics education values applying to the conditions of China, we must adhere to the guidance of monism of Marxism that the direction of this kind of construction, avoiding being misled by the western philosophy. Only by adhering to the basic stand points, views and methodology of Marxism, starting from practices of mathematics education, holding the integration of truism and value of concrete historical authenticity and insisting the pragmatic criteria can the construction of the scientific value system of mathematics education be completed.
