变电运行工有提升事故处理能力的内在要求，而传统培训模式往往只注重理论原理、安规、各种运行规程等，却不能满足能力提升的要求。软仿真完全模拟变电站的一次和二次环境，可随意设置各种故障，提供给学员一个逼真的现场，而且可以无限制反复操作训练；互动教学可有效调动学员学习的主动性和积极性，培养学员处理问题的能力。所以基于软仿真平台的互动式培训模式，在变电运行事故处理教学过程中，对于提升学员处理事故的能力，具有其他培训模式无法替代的优势。
