基于国家西部大开发战略,从电网系统的稳定运行、地方经济的可持续发展、生态环境保护以及大渡河流域可持续开发等方面,论述了猴子岩水电站工程建设的必要性。对工程建设过程中遇到的诸如河床深厚覆盖层基坑开挖、坝体变形控制、渗流控制及基础处理、防震抗震、安全监测、地下厂房高地应力等关键技术问题及处理措施进行了详细介绍。通过前期大量的科研工作、专家咨询及参建各方的协作攻关,所有关键技术问题已基本得到解决。

The necessity of construction of Houziyan Hydropower Station is illustrated from the aspects of Development of the West Regions, stable operation of power grid, sustainable development of local economy, eco-environmental protection as well as sustainable development of Dadu River Basin. We present the technological problems and its corresponding treatment measures in the construction process, including excavation of foundation with thick overburden layer, control of dam deformation, seepage control, anti-seismic design, safety monitoring, and high ground stress of underground powerhouse. Through a large quantity of researches and experts consulting as well as cooperation of all involved parties, all these difficulties are solved basically, and now the construction is entering a peak period.
