The electronic control system and its air management system of compressed natural gas (CNG) engine were intro-duced and the drive requirement for actuator was put forward .The nonlinear analysis of electronic throttle key actuator for air management system was carried out ,the influence of hardware drive signal on throttle drive dynamic response was researched and the drive frequency and duty cycle were determined .The drive control model of bypass valve was built by analyzing its characteristics .The bench test shows that the drive control strategy can realize the regulation of electronic throttle and thus the accurate control of boost pressure .
