2013年3月8日对鄱阳湖大型水鸟数量和分布进行了同步调查，同时还记录了大型水鸟的栖息生境和成幼比。本次调查共记录到大型水鸟10种，总数量40573只。雁形目水鸟数量占本次调查所有水鸟总数量的88.32%。小天鹅的数量最多，为16552只。栖息生境调查显示，白鹤在泥滩地中的群体个数最多，占比为56.52%，白头鹤、白枕鹤、灰鹤在草地中栖息的群体个数最多，接近或超过70%。4种鹤的幼鸟比例都在18%以上。
2013년3월8일대파양호대형수조수량화분포진행료동보조사，동시환기록료대형수조적서식생경화성유비。본차조사공기록도대형수조10충，총수량40573지。안형목수조수량점본차조사소유수조총수량적88.32%。소천아적수량최다，위16552지。서식생경조사현시，백학재니탄지중적군체개수최다，점비위56.52%，백두학、백침학、회학재초지중서식적군체개수최다，접근혹초과70%。4충학적유조비례도재18%이상。
The number and distribution of large waterfowls in Poyang lake were synchronized surveyed at March 8, 2013, and its waterfowl habitats and ratio of young & adult were recorded. The survey recorded a total 40 573 large waterfowls of 10 kinds. From them Anseriformes number accounted for 88.32% of the total number of all waterfowl. Cygnus columbianus has the largest number of 16 552. Habitats survey showed that populations of Grus leucogeranus has the maximum number, accounting for 56.52%, the number of G. monacha, G. vipio, G. grus groups in grassland habitat was the maximum, accounting for close to or more than 70%. The proportion of each of young birds of four Grus was more than 18%.
