通过在营造杉木林同时点播周岁桐,与杉木纯林造林试验对比分析,结果表明,周岁桐生长快,为杉木幼林创造了较为适生环境,到第4年,混交林杉木平均树高生长比对照提高达10%,平均胸径生长比对照提高达14%,并且周岁桐在第2年开始结果产生经济效益,在第5年后树势衰弱可以伐除,不影响杉木后期生长。因此新造杉木林或萌芽更新的杉木林,在造林或更新当年直播混种周岁桐于杉木行间是一种可行有效的栽培模式,混交比例为10杉3桐较宜。

Vernicia fordii was spot sowed when the Cunninghamia lanceolata forests were afforested, compared and analyzed the test of afforestation with pure forests of C. lanceolata, the results showed that V. fordii grew fast and made a suitable environment for the young C. lanceolata. In the fourth year, the average height and DBH growth of the C. lanceolata in the mixed forests were increased up to 10% and 14% than that of comparison, respectively. In addition, the V. fordii began to fruit and generate economic benefits in the second year, but it would be cut when the trees were breakdown after five years, it wouldn’t affect the follow growth of C. lanceolata. So direct sowing and mixture transplanting with V. fordii in the belt of C. lanceolata forests at new planting or sprout regeneration year was an economical and feasible cultivation model, and the appropriate mixed proportion of C. lanceolata with V. fordii was about 10∶3.
