The paper mainly researches influence of adding the activators and the hydrophobic admixture on the performance of the gypsum prod- ucts, and concludes the optimal allocation scheme for the waterproof gypsum block is the compressive strength is 3.40 MPa and its softening co- efficient is 0.789, as the water cement ratio is 0.68, the mixing amount of the sodium sulfate is 1% and the silicone hydrophobic agent is 0.5% by the tests on the flexural and compressive strength and the comparison of the soften coefficients.
