This paper introduces in detail the abnormal zero-sequence voltage measured at 10 kV bus of a 220 kV substation,caused by high third-order harmonic voltage.Based on the analysis of the waveform recorded after capacitor started to work and through comparison with the data measured on site,it further points out the cause of the abnormal zero-sequence voltage measured at the 10 kV bus and proposes protective measures accordingly.
