"Nature has rights" is the core discourse and the prerequisition for the legitimacy of ecological ethics. As a person of environmental protection foresight, John Muir publicly put forward the proposition of "Nature has rights" for the first time in the history of human ecological thoughts. In order to gain accurate understanding and precise inter pretation of the implication of "Nature has rights" in environmental protection, we should investigate comprehensively the view of the wilderness and comb Muir's view of National Park practices orderly.
