Ethical issues in China's media event manifest that the media changes the news production mode and preset the news value, that media reports manner is contrary to journalistic professionalism standards, and that the media power is offside. Countermeasures to address ethical issues in China's media event are: establishing ethical principles and improving the reporting practices of media events; building the mechanism of journalistic ethics and practice and strengthening the external discipline of the media; re- alizing the internalization of media ethics and strengthening its self-discipline.
