在当今日本的日语教育研究领域中,“学习者多样化”是一个关键词语。本研究以此为切入点,首先对其含义及其产生的社会背景进行了阐释。在此基础上,列举并阐述了在日语学习者多样化背景下的日语教育状况,分析了日语教育出现的新动向。研究结果表明:自20世纪80年代后期,伴随着“难民及家属”、“中国归国者”、“日裔人及家属”、“日本人配偶及其家属”等日语学习者的出现,使得JSL日语学习者的成员结构从此发生了根本性变化,直接导致了日语学习者多样化局面的出现。在此背景下,日本的日语教育出现了一些新的动向:第一,日语教育的对象与教学目标发生了变化;第二,日语教育的形态与规模发生了变化,即,从“学校型”扩展到“社会型”;第三,日语教育研究对于日语教育的作用及其发展阶段进行重新定位;第四,政府积极出台一系列应对措施,这些措施推动并保障了新形势下日语教育的平稳发展。

Learner diversity has become a key phrase in the field of research on Japanese language education in Japan. This paper first of all discusses its definition and the social background under which it has been developed. From this, the author explores the current situation of Japanese language education from the perspective of learner diversity and analyzes the new trend in Japanese language education. The research finding indicates that since the late 1980s, more and more people (including refugees and their relatives, Japanese who were left in China after the war and have returned to Japan, Japanese who were born in Brazil and their relatives, foreigners who married to Japanese and their relatives) have become Japanese language learners. These people have brought fundamental changes to the structure of Japanese language learners and resulted in the situation of learner diversity. Under this background, some new trends have appeared in Japanese language education in Japan. First, the target groups of people and the teaching aims have been changed. Second, the pattern and scale of Japanese education has been changed from school- based to society-based form of teaching. Third, the function and the stage of development of Japanese language education research needs to be given a second thought. Finally, the Japanese government has issued a series of measures to deal with this new trend, which has helped the Japanese language education to develop smoothly.
