中国化马克思主义与西方马克思主义之间虽分歧巨大,但共通性也不少。从二者产生和发展的内在动力来看,二者都是为了探索适合本国、本民族的工人阶级解放的道路,而将马克思主义与自身的具体实践相结合,试图对马克思主义作出不同于苏联模式的解释。具体而言,前者是中国共产党人为了找到真正适合中国革命与建设的道路,将马克思主义与其具体实践相结合的产物。后者则是为了找寻适合西方资本主义国家的无产阶级革命和斗争的道路,而试图把马克思主义与本国、本民族的具体情况相结合而进行的探索。

There are lots of differences between the Chinese and the western Marxism except for many similarities. From the viewpoint of their intrinsic motivation of emergence and development, they both try to combine the Marxism with their own specific practice, and to make different interpretation from the Soviet pattern in order to explore the way suitable to liberate the working class of their own nation. Specifically, the former is the combination of Marxism and the Chinese revolution and construction practices made by the Communist Party of China in order to find a suitable road. The latter is exploration for capitalist countries to combine the Marxism with the specific circumstances of their own nation in order to find another way suitable to the revolution and struggle of western proletarian.
