在语言经济学的观点中,语言教育（包括第二语言或外语教育）是一项有经济价值的投资,具有促进社会发展的功能。近年来,我国高校十分重视英语语言学习中心在英语语言教学中的推广和应用。然而迄今为止,高校外语语言学习中心的效果显然不尽人意,优势还未完全充分展现出来。文章从语言经济学的视角,运用成本效益研究的方法,探讨我国高校外语语言学习中心在建设,管理以及学生学习等方面存在的问题,提出优化措施以期提高普通高校英语教学的效率。

From the perspective of the economics of language,the education of language including second language and foreign language education is a valuable investment in economic interest.It has the function of promoting development of society.In recent years,great importance has been attached to the promotion and application of Language Learning Center in foreign language teaching among the Chinese universities.While,it has obviously been far from satisfactory and its advantages of effectiveness has not yet been fully demonstrated.The article tries to explore the problems of Language Learning Center from the aspects of construction,management and student learning.Based on the cost-benefit studies,it puts forward the measures to achieve the optimization in English language teaching in the hope of helping to enhance effectiveness of English language teaching.
