GPIO(general input and output ports) in Windows CE can offer additional functions such as control and surveillance, when mi- croprocessor is short of adequate I/O ports. Principle of GPIO driver development based on stream driver is analyzed. Taking SC36410 as an example,the development process of GPIO driver is introduced,and the configuration method of driver is given.
