The medical value,present situation of resource and artifical planting technology of Cistanche deserticola Ma have been summarized.To develop the industry of Cistanche deserticola Ma can improve the ecological environment,increase the farmers and herders＇ income and expand the new economic growth point in sandy area.A new technique,planting shrub seedlings by use of the method that the seedlings grow with the water,can save the water resources by 80%,raise the work efficiency by 5 times,increase the survival rate of seedlings by 50%.The method of water drilling by use of inducer seed paper is used to plant Cistanche deserticola Ma,which the success rate of inoculation in current year of Cistanche deserticola Ma can reach to 83%,and the work efficiency can be raised by 10 times.A whole set of technology for standardizedly planting Cistanche deserticola Ma is formed.
