株椒6号是以18-7为母本、16为父本配制的杂交一代。该品种中早熟,第一开花结位9~10节,果长17cm左右,果肩宽1.7cm左右,果肉厚0.2cm,平均单果质量15.5g,果实空腔小,肉质脆,味较辣;果面光亮微皱,商品成熟果深绿色,生物学成熟果鲜红色;每667m。鲜椒产量2000kg左右,抗TMV、CMV、疫病,适合长江中下游地区早春保护地、春露地栽培。

Zhujiao 6 is a new hot pepper F1 hybrid bred by crossing two inbred lines 18-7 and 16. It is a mid- early-mature variety, grows the first flower at stem node 9 - 10 and its fruit, crisp and pungent in taste, 17 cm long, 1.7 cm wide, 0.20 cm fruit-wall thick and 15.5 g per fruit with small fruit-cavity,bright green or red rugose skin at maturity, and yields about 30 t fresh fruit per hm% resistant to TMV, CMV and phytophthora capsici.It could be grown early year in both open and protected field in southern China.
