A new hybrid rice variety Tianyou 673 derived from the cross of Tianfeng A and Fuhui673 was developed by China National Seed Group Fujian Nongjia Stock Co.,Ltd and Rice Research Institute of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.It was introduced to be tested and demonstrated for ratoon rice by Xibing Town of Fu’an City in 2011,indicating that it had a strong ratooning ability and can be further tested and demonstrated.Its high-yielding cultivation techniques as ratoon rice was summarized.
