Smart grid can promote the development of low carbon economy, the grid enterprise need targeted to develop smart grid training. It has an important meaning that electrical higher vocational college takes on smart grid training actively on the development of itself. The paper analyzes objectively the op- portunities and the challenges of carrying out smart grid training in higher vocational college, thinks the science popularization training of smart grid about the basic knowledge of grid, and explores the thought of carrying out technical skills training of smart grid.
