思南地属云贵高原乌江流域、黔湘渝鄂交界的武陵山区，民族发展状况脱离不开中国历史进程的大轨迹，具备中华民族发展的共性，由于远离国家政治经济文化中心，又具备本地区民族发展的独特性。本文从源流、融合、管理、特征等方面梳理了思南的民族发展历史，可以帮助我们更好地了解武陵山地区的民族情况，加强民族团结，加快民族发展。

Sinan is an area of Wujiang basin in Yunnan-Guizhou plateau, which is the boundary of Hubei, Guizhou, Hunan and Chongqing. The national development can not be divorced from the Chinese historical trajectories. It has the general character of Chinese national development. Because of far away from the national political and cultural center and it also has the unique national development. This article analyses the national development of Sinan from the headstream, integration, management and characteristics and so on. It can help us to learn the national of Wuling region more better, strengthen the national unity and speed up the national development.
