The deep foundation pit of Shangheyuan Phase Ⅱ has large excavation face and depth and two isolated soil column area with the maximum height difference about 6. 3m will be formed after excavation. The effectiveness of dewatering measures and support scheme concerns the safety and stability of the foundation pit directly and means a lot to the following engineering activities. Combined with the geological conditions, the analysis and calculation of the dewatering scheme for the foundation pit are introduced ; selected typical profile section, the specific support schemes with different excavation depth and at different places are discussed. It is demonstrated that the requirement of deformation control for foundation pit is satisfied.
