BGP（Border Gateway Protocol）是互联网事实上的标准域间路由协议，对维护自治系统（Autonomous System, AS）间路由连通性有重要的作用。除了用于构造转发表来指导分组转发之外，BGP路由表（RIB）中存放的相关信息可以反映互联网规模，运行状态及其体系结构的演化，是互联网基础性研究的重要组成部分，然而先前基于BGP路由表的分析工作大部分集中于路由表尺寸、网络覆盖范围、地址空间消耗等反映互联网规模的指标，对路径多样性等方面的研究比较缺乏，同时也缺少基于IPv6网络的分析。本文基于BGP IPv4路由表以及IPv6路由表，设计路径特性分析实验框架，开展了针对AS规模以及域间路径特性的统计分析工作，从庞大复杂的路由表中获得了隐藏的路径属性及其参数分布，并对其进行了相关的量化工作。主要研究结果显示：1）AS规模的增长在IPv4网络和IPv6网络中的表现差异性较大；2）现今互联网底层物理网络具有丰富的路径多样性；3）BGP 选择的部分默认路径并非最短路径。这些初步的研究结果，对于指导域间互联网路由的研究具有重要的意义。

BGP is the de facto standard for the Internet inter-domain routing protocol, and has an important role in maintaining the connectivity between Autonomous systems (AS). BGP is used to construct the forwarding table (FIB), while the information stored in the BGP table (RIB) can reflect the scale of the Internet, running state and the evolution of the architecture. The previous studies of RIB mainly focused on the size of routing table, but lacked the analysis of routing diversity, as well as the routing characteristics of IPv6 networks On the basis of IPv4 RIB and IPv6 RIB, this paper design a path characteristics analysis framework based on the routing table information from IPv4&IPv6 RIB and performs relevant statistical analysis, unveil some hidden information about AS-level path attributes. The experimental results show that: 1) the growth trend of deployed AS in IPv4 Internet is different from that in IPv6 Internet;2) Internet has a rich diversity of routing paths;3) part of the best paths are not the shortest path in RIB.
