在爱情关系中，爱的对象并非如人们惯常认为的那样是“不可替代”的。承认爱的对象的“可替代性”与肯定爱情的忠贞和专一并不矛盾。面对确已“消亡”的爱情，爱的主体充分认识到爱的对象的“可替代性”十分必要。对大学生进行爱情观教育时，加强对爱的对象“可替代性”的合理认知，可以避免失恋悲剧的发生。
