Water-saving and emission reduction was an important portion as well as the irresistible trend of industrial development.The recirculating cooling water system and water source was briefly introduced according to the industrial practice.The phenomenon of gas and liquid entrainment and its mechanism and influencing factors were analyzed,and the novel control techniques were reviewed.
