Automobile lightweight is an important direction for energy saving and emission reduction to the modern automobile.Now the use of advanced high strength steel(AHSS) is a main way.However,its molding difficult is the main technical problem.In this paper,the authors analyze the mechanisms and characteristics,the molding technology and their application of the five types of AHSS in detail.
