作为一种少数民族文字，水书研究的道路艰难曲折，面临困境重重。水书是解读水族人的生存密码，文章希望通过对水书的注解，才能使水书符合水族人在现阶段的需要，才能指导水族人在现阶段的思想行为；也才能把水书研究引向光明的前景。文章试图对当前水书研究存在的困境作解答，藉以指导水书研究的未来走向。

작위일충소수민족문자，수서연구적도로간난곡절，면림곤경중중。수서시해독수족인적생존밀마，문장희망통과대수서적주해，재능사수서부합수족인재현계단적수요，재능지도수족인재현계단적사상행위；야재능파수서연구인향광명적전경。문장시도대당전수서연구존재적곤경작해답，자이지도수서연구적미래주향。
As a language script for ethnic minority people, the study of Shui script is full of difficulties and setbacks and faces many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. The Shui script is a kind of secret code to under- stand the Shui people' s life. This paper intends to interpret the Shui script so as to make it meet the needs of the Shui people in their present life, guide their current thought and behaviors, and lead the study of the Shui script to its bright future. The paper attempts to explain and find some solutions to the problems in the current study of the Sui script in order to provide certain guidance for its future development.
