With the development of the process and technology of steel casting, it required that the steel casting nozzle should have safety, reliability and long service life under operation conditions. In the ex- periment, the high flowrate composite nozzle is developed successfully through the study of the properties of different materials, such as alumina-carbon, magnesia-carbon and spinel-carbon and it is character- ized by safety, reliability and long service life after it is used on the larze steel ladle.
