手持GPS在新疆博湖县至库尔勒市S206二级公路前期勘测中发挥了巨大的作用。本文介绍了手持GPS的工作原理和技术指标，结合公路勘测中查勘、选点的实际工作，与RTK接收机进行对比，分析了手持GPS的作业优势，对其“航线”的功能进行了探讨，并总结出手持GPS应用的经验。

Handheld Global Position System(GPS) has great effect in the early survey about S206 the second grade highway measurement from Bohu county to Korla city in Xinjiang Province. This paper introduced the working principle and technical indicators of hand-held GPS, combined with the reconnaissance and measurement in the practical highway survey, analyzed the operating advantages of handheld GPS compared with RTK receiver, discussed the function of "route", and summarized the application experience of handheld GPS.
