Combined with the advantage of low voltage power line carrier (PLC) and CAN Bus communication, a kind of two stage bus three layer structure security alarm system based on low voltage PLC and CAN Bus was put forward. The whole system framework and the hardware circuit and software design process are explained in detail. The system can completely satisfy with security alarm system for real-time requirement. With the advantage of stahle and reliable PLC can not only meet the new district requirement, but also can applicable to the intelligence reform old district.
