Based on split-step Fourier algorithm, the parabolic equation can get a solution . Mixed Fourier transform algorithm for rough surface and impedance boundary is also studied. Combining the data with terrain PE, characteristics of radio propagation in complex terrain can be predicted. By changing the antenna parameters and environment conditions, the mutual effects between radio wave and complex terrain are simulated and analyzed and the results agree with the propagation theory and mechanism.
