The influencing factors and optimization measures of water seal destruction of acid wastewater tanks in sour water stripping unit in Huizhou Refinery were introduced. Main optimization measures include smooth operation of the upstream units, good pretreatment of raw acid wastewater, and monitoring the service life of the deodorant. The technical improvement measures of treatment of stench gas emitted by destroyed water seal in acid wastewater tanks were discussed.
