The bases of selecting well-killing methods are put forward through analyzing the main factors of influencing emergency decision, and they are timeliness, safety, effectiveness and low cost. Preliminary well-killing decision-making framework is constructed, which is helpful to enhance early treatment awareness after shut-in and improve entire emergency management capacity in well control process.
