LED lighting is applied to Terminal 2 of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. Design features and development trend of LED luminaire summarized during designing LED luminaire suitable for terminals are introduced. Specifically speaking, energy -saving has been the primary factor to be considered during design of LED luminaire; the overall visual perception of architectural environment is still a factor to which the clients give the highest priority; the style of LED luminaire should be compatible with the architectural style.
