This paper describes the characteristics and status of remote sensing courses, and gives some suggestions for the teaching reform of remote sensing course. Before learning courses, the related basic courses should be appropriately increased; Curriculum needs to be optimized, and each remote sensing course requires a reasonable choice of teaching materials and order; supply the fron- tiers knowledge during teaching, and expand student's perspective; teaching methods need visualized teaching, inspire the creative thinking of students, and enhance the practical ability of students.
