Explain how a universal carrier recovery loop achieves carrier recovery algorithms for 16QAM signal and its project implementation in FPGA .The working principle of the universal loop is described in detail and system generator is used for its modeling and simulation. The simulation result shows that the loop can easily achieve high-speed baseband demodulation signals, and accurately synchronize the carrier frequency and the carrier phase and the design has better stability. It is found that the channel noise has little effect on carrier synchronization.
