Yilun short fiber is the first type of commercially available polyimide fibers manufactured in China.The fiber shows a combination of a variety of excellent properties.The thermal decomposition temperature is above 500 ℃.After aged at 280 ℃ for 100 hours in air,it can maintains 80% of the tensile strength.Its heat transfer coefficient is 4.58 W/（K m2）.It has excellent thermal insulation at low temperature.It showed improved chemical resistance compared to the counterparts in the market.It has good flame retardation with a limit oxygen index of 38.It also has excellent high temperature filtration performance.Therefore,Yilun short fiber can be utilized in the harsh conditions including high temperature,highly corrosive environment,and so on.
