An application of a high-performance ultra-narrow band optical filter - Faraday anomalous dispersion optical filter (FADOF) is introduced, which can be used in wireless optical communication of manned space engineering. The performance parameters of the Cs-FADOF are presented. A frequency stabilized beacon light system based on Cs-FADOF is designed, which can automatically stabilize the output frequency on a FADOF's transmission peak, with the frequency stability reach a level of 3.4xlo~. The current application scenarios of FADOF are summarized, and the main research directions in manned space engineering are presented, which can provide support for the future development of manned engineering program.
