以东京大学等多所大学的第二外语教育为例,分析了日本大学将第二外语作为必修科目、外语语种丰富多样、贯彻学生本位等特点,并在与我国大学第二外语教学的现状进行对比的基础上,指出我国大学公共外语(尤其是第二外语)应借鉴其成熟的教育经验,加强第二外语教育改革,提高第二外语的教学质量,满足广大学生的学习需求。

This paper takes University of Tokyo and many other Japanese universities as examples to analyze the characteristics of Japan's second foreign language education. In Japan second foreign language is a compulsory subject. The country also has high diversification in stu- dent-centered second foreign language education. The article also carried out a comparative study to analyze the current situation of Cbina's second foreign language education. It points out that public foreign language education (especially the second foreign language education) in China should learn from Japan's mature educational experience to reinforce second foreign language education reform, and improve the teaching quality in order to satisfy the learning needs of Chinese students.
