o-Phenylenediamine is an important chemical intermediate with wide uses. Methods for obtaining o-phenylenediamine include sulfidation from o-chloronitrobenzene, ammoniation from o-dichlorobenzene, cata- lytic hydrogenation from o-cbloronitrobenzene . These methods and research progress of o-phenylenediamine pro duction are introduced in home and abroad . Some proposals are put forward.
