In order to meet the rocketing development of chemical additives, educational reform on additive chemistry must be put in practice on basis of the characteristic of this course and the development trend of chemistry disciplines. The educational reform and practice not only could help students to "love and be good at learning", thus enhancing teaching quality, but also help them to develop innovative ability, analytical and problem solving skills.
