首饰设计专业MFA属于我国高层次艺术人才培养体系,它不同于原有的学术型研究生培养,其培养要求是重点提高专业设计技能,围绕首饰艺术创作的艺术性、技术性和商业性,培养学生相应的艺术修养和实践创作表现能力。因此在实践培养模式和环节中,要注重加强各种工艺技能的实践,加强不同类型、不同层次的实践基地建设,明确学生必须进入实践基地进行各种实践环节,对不同水平的学生实行进阶式实践能力培养,注重加强与国际合作和交流,重视首饰创作展示环节。全面培养和锻炼学生的实践创作能力。

The jewellery design major MFA belongs to a high-level artistic talents training system in China, which is different fi＇om training academic degree graduates. Its aim is to enhance students＇ professional ability in design, cultivate students＇ artistic accomplishment and increase students＇ creative ability in practice. Therefore, in the training model the practice of craft techniques should be much enhanced, the establishment of different types and levels of practice bases should be improved, students should be required to finish all the practice processes on bases, students with different levels will be trained progressively, international cooperation and communication are strengthened and the process of displaying jeweUery creative works should be paid much attention to. In sum, we want to develop students＇ practical creative ability in all aspects.
