Through analyzing the "design cause and effect" of student recreation center of Chongqing University, the paper discovers the mutual complementary and interaction of confrontation and integrity between rationality and irrationality concept in architectural creation process. That is to say, architectural creation can be considered as the rational solution under the given conditions including base conditions, environment and design target and so on, and also as the artistic creation by integrating with irrational idea.
