The paper carries out the numerical simulation on the impact of foundation excavation upon neighborhood pile foundation performance by using two-dimensionrl elastic-plastic finite element method, analyzes the soil deformation characteristics surrounding the neighborhood pile foundation owing to the foundation excavation, discusses horizontal pile displacement and bending moment varying features of various excavation depths, and finally draws some theoretically guiding conclusions for the engineering practice.
