The paper induces the explicit formula of natural vibration frequency of rib plate by applying energy principle, shows various trial functions of vibration in light of various boundary constraints of rib plate in engineering, and points out that method is widely applicant, which is suitable not only in horizontal and vertical plate but also in various plates bearing. Comparing to finite element method, it has no calculation pro- gram with simple calculation process.
