The study undertakes the research on the test of the axial compression loading capacity of Q460 high-strength steel pipes, researches the features for the axial compression stable loading capacity, the damage models and the calculation theories for the loading capacity of the high- strength pipe, and proves that the relative theories of Design Regulation for Steel Structure in China can be applied in the stable loading capacity calculation for Q460 high-strength steel pipes by the comparison and analysis of the experimental value and the theoretic value of the stable loading capacity.
